Mineralisation remains wide open and the Alicanto is poised for immediate growth with an aggressive multi-rig drill program. About the role We are seeking a skilled Exploration Geologist to join our team in a full time role onsite located near Norsemen/Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. You will be responsible for providing support to regional exploration targeting and field programs. Your main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Geological logging and sampling of regional exploration AC, RC, and diamond drill programs. Effectively communicate exploration outcomes through the compilation of technical reports on exploration activities Design, planning, budgeting and implementation of exploration mapping, sampling drill programs; inclusive sampling and assay protocols Supervision of exploration drilling programs, including providing training and assistance to new geologist/field staff. Full compliance with all DMIRS requirements around POW, rehabilitation, and heritage policy. Ensure the maintenance and implementation of the safety management plan and compliance with all Alicanto systems of operation. Conducting geological interpretations and developing applicable exploration targets, including updated geology maps, regional structural model, summary geology report and presentation material. Assist with database migration of all regional exploration data, historical and new, including validation of exploration datasets Evaluation and communication of risks associated with geological targets and interpretation. Generation of growth targets at the Mt Henry gold deposit. Support both near mine and Greenfields exploration projects by utilizing 3d modelling knowledge to provide value targets for geophysical and geochemical surveys. Project work as defined by Geology Manager, Geology Superintendent Applicants must have: Degree qualified in geology 2-5 years' experience in exploration Solid software knowledge and data entry experience Proficient in technical writing, reporting and communicating of technical data to relevant parties as required Demonstrated commitment to safety and communication skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines WA Manual drivers licence 1st Aid training and 4WD experience desirable Desirable to have EM and/or s26 certifications Apply now through our online application form.
