We are seeking an Estimator to join our team based at Stapylton, QLD. This is a full time, permanent role and will reporting to the Sales Manager. This critical role is focused on supporting tender submissions for a diverse range of projects.
Your day will involve:
* Entering and updating projects into estimate data base
* Unpacking tender invitations – reviewing tender conditions, briefs, scopes, specifications and other documentation
* Performing take-offs and measuring quantities
* Preparing unit rates and pricing estimates
* Negotiating tenders with clients
* Handing over tenders to production team
* Assisting production team with follow up queries during execution of projects
* Assisting with take-offs for large variations.
What are we looking for?
* Tertiary qualifications in a Quantity Surveying, Building or Engineering discipline or Certificate IV in Building Construction
* Experience as an Estimator or Project Engineer
* Concrete or form work structure experience beneficial
* Ability to work independently and prioritise competing deadlines
* High standard of customer focus.
