SunRice Group, an iconic Australian company, offers a great environment for passionate individuals to make a difference. CopRice Tongala has recently invested in its Feedmill plant, creating an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrician to contribute.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting planned maintenance activities
* Diagnosing faults and managing breakdowns of equipment or process failures
* Following safe work practices and training apprentices
* Identifying opportunities to improve plant and equipment reliability and efficiency
* Participating in root cause analysis and process improvements
* Completing required safety and quality documentation
* Engaging in Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement activities
To be considered for this role, you will have:
* Electrical Trade Qualification
* PLC programming skills
* Industrial diagnostic and fault-finding experience
* Mechanical aptitude
* Good computer literacy and communication skills
* Self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable to changing demands
* Safety awareness, including risk assessments and incident reporting
* Current vehicle license
* Ability to work independently and in a team
Experience in manufacturing is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will work with a positive, friendly team and receive competitive remuneration based on qualifications and experience.
