About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Sewing Machinist. In this hands-on role, you will work primarily with vinyl to mark out, cut, and sew covers for mats, seating, and sporting equipment. You will join a supportive manufacturing team committed to producing industry-leading products.
Work Hours
* Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:10pm
* Flexibility is required to work afternoon shifts, overtime, and Saturdays on an 'as required' basis to meet business needs
Key Responsibilities
* Marking, cutting, and sewing vinyl materials for custom projects
* Producing covers for mats, seating, and sporting equipment to the highest quality standards
* Contributing ideas for process improvement and best practice implementation
* Maintaining equipment and ensuring a safe, tidy workspace
* Collaborating across a supportive and dedicated manufacturing team
About You
* The ability to work from drawings.
* Experience in industrial sewing, preferably working with vinyl or upholstery materials
* The willingness to follow established procedures.
* Attention to detail, commitment to quality and the ability to work unsupervised.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team
* Physical ability to consistently work with heavy materials
* Willingness to work overtime, afternoon shifts, and some Saturdays when business needs require
