Coach – Strength and Conditioning
Position Overview
The Coach – Strength and Conditioning is responsible for the collaborative design and delivery of programs that enhance sports programs and athletic growth across the College. This position works with the strength and conditioning team, head coaches and personal trainers to foster health, participation, and athletic development across various sports and for students from Pre‑Prep to Year 12.

Key Responsibilities
* Support effective strength and conditioning program design and coaching
* Assist in the design and implementation of the College Sporting Excellence Programme
* Enhance athletic capability and performance across sports, ages and mobility levels
* Tailor programs to enhance athletic performance, prevent injuries and improve fitness
* Contribute to College‑wide performance testing
* Collaboratively ensure successful operation of the College Fitness Centre
* Promote sport and facilities use within the College community
* Foster strong relationships with the College community and external stakeholders
* Proactively contribute to a risk‑averse operation and continuous improvement

Qualifications and Experience
* Strong experience and technical knowledge in designing and applying age‑appropriate strength and conditioning frameworks across various sports, ideally within a school
* Thorough understanding of the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) Position Stand on Child and Youth Resistance Training
* Certification in Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) Level 1
* Qualifications in Exercise Science, Sports Management or a relevant equivalent; ASCA Level 2 well regarded
* Strong interpersonal skills with an enthusiasm to develop student and client abilities
* Dedication to integrity, reliability, sound judgement, service and risk adversity
* Working with Children blue card and First Aid certification
* Physically fit to participate in manual tasks and in a dynamic sports environment
