Northline are on the lookout for a Forklift driver to join our team in Regency Park. Ideally you will thrive working in a small team, have strong multi-tasking skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
The position involves driving the Combilift – a Specialised Container straddle & carrier, which will load and unload containers onto trucks and container movements around the site. This may suit a driver who is used to manoeuvring large items such as vehicles, heavy steal and ugly/blended freight.
About your duties
* Using the Combilift to move full containers in and out of Cargolink;
* Replacing full and empty containers, moving containers across the yard;
* Picking & loading all country freight
Skills and experience:
If you are a highly efficient, responsible forklift operator who is keen to train on other machines, then we would love to hear from you Training will be provided. Candidates must have:
* Forklift Licence with exceptional forklift operating skills;
* Experience operating a 2.5 & 20 tonne forklift or Combilift;
* Straddle or Container Hoist experience preferred;
* Previous experience in Operations / Transport / Logistics;
* Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment;
* Have a commitment to safe work practices.
