Overview
Enterprise Architect - BTA - COE role at SAP. Base in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia. The role works with SAP's Sales organization and the Partner ecosystem to define account strategy and bridge the gap between the customer's business strategy and SAP solutions. Initial assignment is an 18-month transformation program within a Centre of Excellence for Federal Australian Agencies, then transitioning into the broader Customer Success and Delivery area.

Responsibilities
* Account Planning & Architecture Management Responsibilities
o Support the assessment of current customer solutions from SAP and identify opportunities for faster solution adoption and SAP Business Suite footprint expansion.
o Engage with customers to support sales cycles as an integral member of the SAP account team.
o Drive business and IT architecture definitions to ensure alignment with SAP organizations, the customer, and partners.
o Provide a linkage from the customer to SAP product development leadership.
* Creating an SAP Architecture Vision for the Customer
o Support building customer demand through thought leadership and innovation positioning.
o Understand the customer's business process map and business model with industry reference architecture focus.
o Understand the customer's current enterprise landscape and future needs.
o Drive the positioning of standard cloud architectures (plug & play) leveraging standard cloud solutions.
o Develop roadmaps to help customers plan their transition to SAP's cloud solutions.
* Building Key Customer Architecture Deliverables: Business & Solution Architecture, Target State, Transformation Roadmap
o Drive business architecture and capability mapping to solution design.
o Ensure IT feasibility of the business capabilities mapping to SAP solution architecture.
o Support customer cloud transformation roadmap definition (business and application focus).
o Drive customer cloud/hybrid transformation roadmap definition (standard cloud application and technology focus).
* Being a Trusted Architecture Advisor for the Customer
o Align living roadmap with current adoption/solution consumption.
o Support living roadmap governance & adaptation based on evolution of customer needs and SAP solutions.
o Drive solution expansion by highlighting value & linkages to the broader SAP Portfolio.
o Contribute architectural input into development of value-based business cases.
Experience & Qualifications
* Considerable experience with software/IT organizations as an IT Architecture or Enterprise Architecture Advisor and/or expertise with software solutions through Solution Management, Sales, Presales, Adoption/Consumption, Consulting or Business Development, with successful outcomes over multiple years.
* Represent SAP as a trusted advisor within SAP and/or the market.
* Deep knowledge of Cloud, Hosted Services, SaaS/PaaS models and cloud-based commerce/business networks.
* Proven professional networks to drive pipeline and revenue growth for SAP.
* Proven track record of success in the Public Sector area, if required.
* Proven leadership and project management experience.
* Proven experience of driving tangible outcomes in Enterprise Architecture for customers.
* Fluency in English; any other language is an asset.
* Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required; MBA or equivalent degree preferred.
* Togaf or SAPIEA-10 certifications and experience using EAM tools is an added value.
