We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team in Burpengary East, QLD.
The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of bread production, including kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goods.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing and baking bread loaves, rolls and other pastries
* Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises production runs to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
* Checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients
* Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goods
* Preparing pastry filling
* Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times
* Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products
* Glazing buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing
* Operating machines which roll and mould dough and cut biscuits
* Empting, cleaning and greasing trays, tins and other cooking equipment
The successful candidate must be fluent in Vietnamese and English, and able to work effectively in a team environment. Shift work is required, and the ability to commute to Burpengary East, QLD is essential.
Requirements:
* Past experience as a Pastry chef (preferable)
* Australia Work Authorisation (preferable)

Salary: $55,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
