So, what's the role?
This isn't just another accounting role. You'll own your own client portfolio, delivering both compliance and advisory services, while also mentoring junior staff and sharing your expertise. And because we love new ideas, there's plenty of room to contribute beyond the numbers.
Here's what a typical week might look like:
* Preparing and reviewing financial statements, income tax returns and BAS for a diverse client base
* Advising on tax matters like CGT, Division 7A, business structuring and small business concessions
* Building forecasts, budgets and management reports that help clients make smarter decisions
* Being the trusted go-to for clients — answering questions, offering insights, and helping them grow
* Teaming up with senior colleagues to deliver advice that connects tax, compliance and strategy
Enough about us-let's talk about you.
You'll be a great fit for the role if you:
* At least 3 years' experience in public practice
* CA or CPA qualified (or nearly there)
* Strong technical tax/accounting knowledge — and confidence talking directly with clients
* A natural communicator who's curious, solutions-focused, and loves problem-solving
* Experience with Xero cloud software
* A team player who brings energy, professionalism, and a sense of humour to the table
