Retail Management Position
Our organization is seeking an experienced retail manager to oversee the efficient operation of our retail section. This key role involves managing various aspects of retail operations, focusing on ordering, stock management, production administration, team supervision and education, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
* Maintain accurate daily financial records.
* Coordinate with bakers and pastry chefs to manage stock levels and fill orders.
* Manage production schedules and budgets in collaboration with business management and the bakery team.
* Lead, train, and supervise a dedicated retail bakery team.
* Create efficient staff rosters to ensure proper staffing levels.
* Provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
* Interview and select suitable staff when necessary.
* Evaluate the production of high-quality bakery products.
* Uphold and enhance customer service standards.
* Develop strategies for increasing customer satisfaction.
* Ensure strict adherence to food safety and occupational health and safety standards.
* Collaborate closely with business management.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* A minimum of 3 years of retail management experience, preferably in a gluten-free bakery or related industry.
* Qualifications in business, hospitality, or a related field.
* An extensive knowledge of gluten-free foods and other common allergens.
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in inventory management, budgeting, and production scheduling.
* Leadership qualities with a focus on team development.
* An absolute knowledge of the latest food safety and occupational health and safety standards.
