AIC Mines owns the Eloise Copper Mine located near Cloncurry, QLD. Eloise is an underground mine with conventional crush-grind-float processing to produce a high-quality copper-gold concentrate. AIC Mines has recently commenced an expansion of the Eloise operation following the acquisition of the nearby Jericho resource. The Company also owns a portfolio of copper and gold exploration projects across Australia.

About the Role
We’re offering an excellent opportunity to start your career in mining as an Auto Electrician Apprentice.
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Maintenance Team. Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will assist in maintaining, diagnosing and repairing electrical systems across a wide range of underground and surface mining equipment, including:
* Heavy mobile equipment
* Light vehicles
* Underground mining machinery
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will gain practical, hands-on experience to support your formal TAFE studies and apprenticeship training requirements.
This role will lead to completion of a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (AUR30320).
Roster & Location
* FIFO roster: 8/6 or 2/2 from Townsville (subject to operational requirements)
* Bus-in/bus-out available for local applicants from Cloncurry and surrounding communities
* Onsite accommodation provided (65 km from Cloncurry)
* Open to all ages – recent school leavers are encouraged to apply
About You
* Completion of Year 11 or higher
* Strong interest in heavy mobile equipment and mining
* Ability to pass English comprehension and numeracy assessments
* Manual Queensland driver’s licence (essential)
* Physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical and police clearance
* Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
* Demonstrated commitment to safety
