The Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Dental Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist our Specialists and Oral Health Therapists, drive best practices among junior dental assistants, and contribute to the overall success of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities
* Chairside assisting with both surgical and non-surgical procedures
* Assisting with sterilisation and adhering to infection control guidelines
* Laboratory duties and intra-oral scanning
* Patient instruction and support
* Reception and administrative assistance when required
* Ensuring every patient leaves with a smile
* Promoting continuous improvement and mentoring junior staff

Qualifications & Skills
* Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (desirable)
* Excellent knowledge of infection control and sterilisation procedures
* Organised, effective time management, able to remain calm under pressure
* Experience in advanced surgical assisting, including IV sedation, highly desirable but not essential
* Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
* High ethical standards, reliable, and takes initiative
* Works well both independently and as part of a team
