**About the Role**:
We are seeking Allied Health Assistants to work with children in the child's home, school, childcare, kindergarten and social skills settings.
- **_Individual sessions_** with the child will involve following an Individual Plan developed by the child's lead EISS Allied Health Professional (Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, or Child Psychologist). Sessions usually run for approximately 2 hours.
- **_Social Skills sessions_** involve taking children to public places (eg. Dreamworld, Movies, Australia Zoo) for a day of fun. Sessions usually run all day.

Early Intervention Support Services is a Home Service that provides Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Behaviour Specialists, Allied Health Assistants, Social Skills Groups and Support Workers services to young children and adolescents in exclusively outreach settings.

**Skills and Experience**:
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH CHILDREN
- Possess own ABN (or prepared to obtain this).
- Blue Card/Working With Children Check (Employee) (or prepared to obtain this).
- Current Driver's License and car (essential).
- First Aid Certificate (or prepared to obtain this).
- NDIS Training Module Certificate (or prepared to obtain this).
- Valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate or valid exemption
**Job Type**: Subcontract
**Salary**: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
