REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGISTS WANTED TO JOIN OUR SUPPORTIVE TEAM
Young Minds Health and Development network requires enthusiastic and passionate psychologists to join our thriving private practice. Our preference is fully registered psychologists who will see children (ages 0-18) in clinic, with the ability to see adults as well. There are positions available in-clinic in two of our four Clinics in Brisbane North and Moreton Bay area: North Lakes, and Redcliffe. Contractors will be paid at an hourly rate. There are some deliverables required but we have a very focused self-care culture, flexible and lots of support with peer supervision, group and individual, with our Clinical Leads.
We also have 4 higher level supervisors for Endorsement programs for Psychologists - Ed and Dev, Counselling and Clinical.
The role will be ideal for both new fully-registered graduates, and experienced psychologists. Our comprehensive induction program and our support mechanisms allow you to learn the ropes, so you end up loving private practice as much as we do. It will allow you to spend your work time with a team of like-minded individuals, who are all banding together to make a difference. We have a comprehensive graduate program available.
Young Minds is a business sponsor organisation so those clinicians overseas who are considered to meet the criteria for temporary shortage status in Australia, and, who wish to migrate to Australia are welcome to apply. A permanent full-time employed position will apply to overseas clinicians.
Contractor pay rates are negotiable based on experience.
Young Minds is a busy Psychology and Allied Health Practice that has been operating for almost 20 years. We have a very good track record and are highly regarded with GPs and Specialists and other service providers. There are currently over 30 psychologists (including Clinical, Educational & Developmental, Counselling, and Generalists), Social Workers, and 3 occupational therapists working in the Practice across four locations. We have a high case load of children and adolescents, and also many Adults. Referrals come mainly from GPs, Paediatricians and NDIS, and through our website.
Our Redcliffe Clinic is a stand alone building, with three consulting rooms in the main building, with a large Studio (for groups) and a play-therapy building at the back. It is across the road from the water.
Our North Lakes Clinic is our biggest, as part of a ground floor centre, with coffee and food close by.
TELEHEALTH OPTIONS
There are telehealth options for those psychologists wanting to work partly from home.
