People & Culture (P&C) is responsible for delivering people initiatives that are aligned with business strategy across the full employee lifecycle. The team delivers robust people strategies and services that support leaders and employees during their careers with ASIC.

As a
Senior Manager - Health, Safety & Wellbeing
, you will:
Provide expert advice on WHS performance, workers' compensation, injury management and compliance.
Develop and oversee ASIC's WHS strategy, systems and procedures.
Maintain and enhance the WHS management system, guiding leaders on legislative responsibilities.
Drive proactive injury prevention, return-to-work plans and risk management.
Analyse and report WHS metrics to inform decision-making.
Reduce risk through targeted education and awareness programmes.
Stay current with WHS legislation and best practice.
Benchmark and apply insights on early intervention and employee wellbeing.
Lead and manage WHS Advisers, ensuring alignment with ASIC values and behaviours.
Conduct risk assessments, investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate across P&C to deliver strategic priorities and initiatives.
Demonstrate strong leadership to achieve team and organisational goals.
Ensure compliance with ASIC's WHS Policy and maintain a safe workplace.
About You
In addition, you will have:
Bachelor's degree in Work Health and Safety or relevant field.
Specialist knowledge and experience with WHS legislation and standards.
The demonstrated ability to inspire a sense of purpose and direction. Lead and coach a small team, demonstrating inclusive team practices and an ability to deliver outcomes through others.
The demonstrated ability to think critically when extracting and interpreting information; mine and analyse data to connect patterns and identify trends and risks; think laterally about issues to produce effective strategies and solutions.
The demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and effectively to new requirements and situations, showing initiative to take action to remain abreast of new trends and developments; an ability to learn from past experience and apply learning to perform future tasks successfully.
The demonstrated ability to apply different technologies to gather and process information efficiently and effectively; understand the communication and technological systems used by ASIC and the industry and apply that understanding to produce effective registry strategies and solutions.
The demonstrated ability to build, maintain and utilise networks and relationships within ASIC and across domestic and international stakeholders and regulatory bodies. An ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
