You will join our Operations business to work with a major player in the Oil & Gas industry on an Onshore brownfields Engineering Service Contract.This position will be hired on a contractor basis for 12 months with a rotational 2:2 or 3:3 roster, working 6 days/week and 12-hour day shifts.Responsibilities

Transforming the World.Wood's "Operations" APAC West business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimization, and technical services to the Oil & Gas industry and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region's most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Southeast Asia.Scope of WorkInterfacing with Civil contractor on technical issues and resolution of issues onsiteProvide site and technical support with oversight during the installation and maintenance of structural systemsMonitor the progress and performance of the project or scope of work, give input and provide feedback and support where necessaryAssist in providing feedback to the Lead Construction Engineer and Project Engineering Manager on construction progress budget and scheduleProvide technical support to the onsite construction teams, projects department and engineering departmentQualifications

If you have a visa application in progress, you are also encouraged to apply.Suitably qualified in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution, ideally you will have proven Construction experience onsite, supported by 8+ years of relevant design engineering experience within the Oil & Gas industry.In addition, you will:Familiarity with relevant standards and design guidelines to the civil engineering disciplineDemonstrate a minimum of 3-5 years site engineering experience in constructionStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing project requirementsPromote a culture of safety on-site, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards and regulationsExperienced in performing Civil Design including detailed designStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with the clientEffective time management skills and ability to prioritizeExperience in the use of relevant software packages (e.g.
