We're inviting applications to join our permanent workforce at HMAS WATSON as a Refrigeration/HVAC Technician. Commencing February 2026, we are looking for people from all backgrounds.
What You'll Do
* Perform scheduled, preventative and corrective maintenance on refrigeration, air conditioning and HVAC systems.
* Carry out refrigerant handling in accordance with ARCTick licensing obligations.
* Provide professional and timely responses to internal and external stakeholders.
* Work collaboratively with other trades and subcontracts to support operational delivery.
What You'll Bring
* Certificate III Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
* ARCTick Refrigerant Handling licence (desirable).
* NSW Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Licence.
* Post-trade experience in refrigeration, air conditioning and HVAC maintenance.
* Demonstrated expertise in fault diagnosis and repair of refrigeration and HVAC systems.
* Current Open Drivers Licence.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship is mandatory).
