Community Health Nurse Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Community Health Nurse to join our team. As a Community Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to clients in community settings.
The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
The role involves working with clients in community settings, conducting health assessments, developing care plans, and providing education and support to clients and their families.
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
* Current Driver's Licence.
The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this position must satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion, or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
1. Conviction check in the following areas: a) Crimes of violence; b) Sex-related offences; c) Serious drug offences; d) Crimes involving dishonesty.
2. Identification check.
3. Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is $75,902 to $102,908 per annum, pro rata. The successful candidate will also receive a range of benefits, including access to professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
This Register provides an opportunity for Registered Nurses to be considered for fixed-term full-time, part-time, or casual employment periods up to 12 months within community settings in South and North West Tasmania.
