Advanced Practice Radiographer | Lead, Innovate, Deliver
Step into a senior clinical leadership role delivering advanced medical imaging services across specialist modalities. You'll lead, mentor, and innovate to deliver safe, patient-centred care while shaping clinical practice, education, and service improvement in Princess Alexandra Hospital.
About This Role
Your new role:

As a Senior / Advanced Practice Radiographer, you will provide expert clinical leadership within advanced imaging services while supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care. Working across one specialty or multiple advanced modalities, you'll act as a clinical reference point, mentor less experienced staff, and contribute to innovation, education, and research within a complex healthcare environment.

You Will

* Deliver specialised or advanced clinical imaging services across modalities such as Cardiac Cath Lab, CT (including interventional), MRI, PET CT/MRI, angiography, or Radiation Oncology MRI simulation
* Apply advanced, independent clinical judgement in the imaging of complex and urgent patients
* Lead the development, review, and implementation of clinical practices, protocols, and procedures
* Provide high-level clinical leadership, supervision, and mentoring to radiographers and clinical assistants

About You
You are an experienced and motivated medical imaging professional with a passion for clinical excellence, leadership, and service improvement. You thrive in complex clinical environments and are committed to developing people, services, and innovative models of care.

You Will Bring

* Advanced clinical expertise in one or more specialist medical imaging modalities
* Eligibility for, or possession of, a Queensland Licence to Use Irradiating Apparatus
* Experience in clinical education, protocol development, and quality improvement
* Willingness to participate in shift work, weekend, and on-call rosters

About Us
The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.

We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.

We're expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need. We're adding more beds, modernising our buildings, and improving our spaces to treat kidney and cancer patients with all new services and facilities planned to open by 2027.
