About the role
This is a full time opportunity located at Stanwell Power Station.
The role of the Mechanical Technician is to provide maintenance, technical support and input to the operation and maintenance of Power Station plant, including the management of plant assets and undertaking continuous plant improvements. This is a great opportunity open to a person studying an associate degree and is looking to further their career working on large scale infrastructure.
Key activities include:
* Maintain reliability of plant and equipment on a large coal fired power plant.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement activities.
* Ensure that compliance across a range of areas is maintained.
* Working within a multi-discipline team to meet deadlines
About you
* Mechanical Trade Certificate or recognised equivalent
* Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or recognised equivalent
* Applicants currently completing an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering are also strongly encouraged to apply
