With continued business growth, we're expanding our team and are currently seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to join our fast-paced operations in Woodville, SA.
About The Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Team Leader will play a hands-on leadership role, supervising small team of 5 warehouse store persons. You'll be responsible for coordinating daily operations on the floor, planning workflows, and ensuring safety and efficiency across all pick/pack and dispatch activities.
This role requires someone with solid warehouse experience, strong leadership qualities, and the ability to foster a positive and productive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including a team of 5 staff
* Plan, delegate, and monitor workflow to meet daily operational targets
* Conduct regular toolbox talks and team briefings
* Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
* Ensure general warehouse housekeeping and organisation
* Promote and maintain a safe working environment for all team members
* Perform stock checks, inventory support, and documentation as required
* Operate forklifts (high reach experience Essential)
* Provide training and support for new and existing team members
* Support the Warehouse Manager with reporting and performance feedback
Skills And Experience
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a team leader in a pick/pack or warehouse environment
* Current forklift licence (LF) – high reach experience essential
* Strong organisational and planning skills
* Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, physically active environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong safety mindset and understanding of warehouse WHS practices
* A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to get involved on the floor
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling/lifting tasks
* Strong commitment to WH&S policies and procedures
* RF scanning
