About the Position:
Seeking an experienced and compassionate support specialist to provide assistance to clients across Logan, QLD.
The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification, as well as a minimum one year of experience in aged care or disability. They should also have a NDIS clearance, be COVID-19 vaccinated, hold a current Police Check, and possess a valid First Aid Cert including CPR. Additionally, they should have access to their own car and relevant insurances. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Accompany clients on outings, run errands, and participate in daily activities
Prepare meals and undertake grocery shopping tasks
Assist with personal care and hygiene tasks such as showering, dressing, and toileting
Perform household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and folding clothes
Provide companionship and social interaction for clients
Transport clients to appointments and engagements
