Toowoomba Saddlery is a family owned and operated Wholesale Manufacturing saddlery business based in Toowoomba, QLD Australia. Established in 1968, we supply saddlery products to an extensive retail network throughout Australia and globally.
Position
Assistant to Sales, Warehousing & Workshop
Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:05pm
No weekend or public holiday work
Responsibilities
- Customer service & sales
- Loading and unloading of trucks and containers
- Receiving, checking, labelling and stocking stores
- Picking, packing & dispatch of stores
- Basic leather goods cutting, preparation & assembly
- General cleaning and warehouse maintenance
Qualifications
- The ability to work well in a team workplace, and be able to work unsupervised
- Previous warehousing & sales experience
- High level attention to detail and time management skills
- Basic computer & telephone skills
- Basic Microsoft suite applications, word & outlook
- Basic ERP & freight dispatch systems experience
- Communication skills to interact with customers and suppliers (personally and by telephone)
- The ability to undertake manual tasks
