Opportunity
This is an enriching opportunity to work with the Community & Virtual Care Innovation team at Royal Perth Hospital. The Research Assistant contributes to the delivery of research projects, and undertakes data collection, analysis and the generation of reports which contribute to submissions for consideration and review by internal and external stakeholders and committees.
This position provides Research support to the team, trial patients, members of the multidisciplinary team and other interested parties. This position will be based out of the Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) in Perth.
About You
You will have quantitative research experience, preferably with a Tertiary qualification in a relevant health discipline.
* At least 3 years of experience in a hospital research position
* Demonstrated knowledge of research methodology
* Demonstrated experience successfully applying for ethics and local governance approvals.
* Knowledge of hospital information systems relevant to clinical data collection, tracking and reporting (e.g. administrative data, Emergency Data, Pathology, Radiological Data etc)
* Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and Well-developed communication and report writing skills
