About the Role
We are seeking a Senior .Net Developer to join an exciting digital transformation program within a large government department.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain software applications using (front-end) and .NET (back-end).
* Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines within an Azure DevOps environment.
* Ensure all solutions align with established standards, frameworks, and security requirements.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce robust design and architecture artefacts.
* Manage and maintain source code repositories and technical documentation.
* Develop testing products and automate testing processes where possible.
* Translate functional requirements and user stories into detailed technical specifications.
* Provide mentoring, technical guidance, and expert advice to team members as needed.
* Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve existing solutions.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and delivery outcomes.
Highly Desirable Criteria
* Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Azure cloud services and the Power Platform.
* Strong proficiency in C# and JavaScript frameworks.
* Proven experience developing cloud-native, scalable web applications in enterprise environments.
* Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks and DevOps practices.
Desirable Criteria
* Previous experience within the public sector or working on justice or legal systems.
* Experience developing and maintaining solutions within complex, multi-application ecosystems.
* Understanding of accessibility standards and secure coding practices in government environments.
