About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Sales Representative to drive sales growth and deliver successful irrigation projects across our customer base.
This role is responsible for achieving sales, margin and profit targets by building strong customer relationships, identifying new growth opportunities, and managing irrigation projects from opportunity through to completion. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve sales, margin and profit targets through effective sales and project execution.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
* Develop and implement sales and business plans aligned to branch and organisational strategy.
* Identify, qualify and convert sales prospects across key irrigation market segments.
* Manage irrigation projects end‐to‐end, from quoting and planning through to commissioning and completion.
* Provide timely, accurate customer communication and project progress updates.
* Collaborate with internal teams (branch, logistics, purchasing and project managers) to ensure successful project delivery.
* Identify opportunities to improve project processes, customer experience and market differentiation.
* Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records, and monthly sales and project reports.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and legislative requirements.
About You
Essential:
* Proven experience in project sales, account management or technical sales.
* Demonstrated ability to plan, forecast and report on sales performance.
* Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
* Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
* Computer literacy, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Desirable:
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Project Management or a related field.
* Strong technical and product knowledge within the water or irrigation sector.
* Experience working across retail, customer service and / or project environments.
