The Role

At TasWater, our Digital & Technology team plays a vital role in delivering modern, reliable, and efficient digital solutions that support our business and our customers. We’re looking for a proactive and organised Project Administrator to help support the planning, coordination, and delivery of digital projects across the organisation.

In this role, you’ll work closely with project managers, technical teams, and key stakeholders to ensure our projects run smoothly and meet required standards.

What you’ll be doing:

* Supporting the planning and resourcing of digital projects by reviewing requests and maintaining accurate capacity and allocation data.

* Coordinating additional resourcing requirements, including documentation, approvals, and engagement through the Digital & Technology Panel.

* Working with project stakeholders to ensure alignment with the Digital Project Delivery Framework and maintaining accurate information in the Project Compliance Tracker.

* Assisting with the monthly Digital & Technology Performance Report by coordinating inputs and ensuring information is accurate and up to date.

* Providing project coordination, administration, and financial support to help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with TasWater policies and standards.

* Maintaining clear and accurate project records, supporting risk management activities, and contributing to a positive, solutions‑focused team culture.

What we're looking for

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Project Administrator who is confident working in a dynamic digital project environment. You’ll bring strong coordination skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to support multiple projects while building effective relationships across the Digital & Technology team.

You will bring:

* Strong Microsoft Office skills (essential), with the ability to produce accurate reports, documentation, and project materials.

* Experience using project management tools is desirable, with JIRA and Tempo preferred (but not mandatory).

* Previous experience in a project delivery or project support environment, ideally within digital, IT, or a similar structured framework.

* A proactive, self‑directed approach—able to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and support resourcing and planning as new work comes in.

* Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, enabling you to work closely with Project Managers and stakeholders in a changing environment.

* The ability to quickly learn and apply the Digital Project Delivery Framework, ensuring project stages and artefact requirements are understood and followed.

The Details

This role can be based in either Hobart, Launceston, or Devonport and attracts a salary of $103,701.29 - $109,462.48 (inclusive of superannuation), negotiable dependent on experience.
