About the Role...
As a Workforce Australia Employment Consultant (PPS), your role will be to monitor and provide post placement support to participants in employment, identify barriers to ongoing employment and provide a solution focused approach to assist the participant in maintaining employment.
Role coverage
Capital (based in either Greenway or Canberra office)
Key Responsibilities
* Providing consistent and proactive support to employed participants through regular telephone and/or face-to-face contact.
* Monitoring their progress, addressing any challenges they may encounter in the workplace, and offering guidance to help them maintain long-term employment.
* Preparing and submitting claim evidence and documentation in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with contractual and organisational requirements.
* Identifying and recommending additional or alternative training, resources, or support services based on the individual needs and circumstances of each participant.
* Effectively managing a PPS caseload, ensuring all activities are conducted in line with contractual obligations, internal policies, and quality standards.
* Maintaining accurate records, meeting performance targets, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
* Proven relationship‐building skills and a professional, empathetic approach.
* The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a high‐performing team.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills in a fast‐paced, target‐driven environment.
* High‐level administrative capability with strong attention to detail and accurate data entry.
* Confident computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
* Experience in Employment Services or clearly transferable skills.
* Ability to work independently in dynamic and sometimes challenging environments.
* A track record of achieving KPIs and service delivery expectations.
To be considered, you will have
* Eligibility to work in Australia.
* A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
* A MyGovID (Standard level).
* Willing to complete a National Police Check.
* Able to pass a Working with Children Check.
* Available to work Full‐Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
