Issimo by Breglia's Piccolo Cafe, a well-established cafe located in the heart of Fremantle, Western Australia, is looking for an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team on a full-time position. Employer sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, bake, present a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, and baked goods.
* Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all pastry items.
* Assist in menu development and seasonal offerings.
* Maintain food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards at all times.
* Manage stock rotation, portion control, and minimise waste.
* Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Requirements
* Certificate III and IV in Patisserie (or equivalent experience).
* Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Pastry Chef.
* Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking processes, and dessert production.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Availability to work early mornings.
