Step Into Your Next Chapter
The Student Wellbeing Workforce ensures every Queensland primary and secondary state school student has access to meaningful wellbeing support, right where they need it – at school. In this role you'll work directly with students experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns, providing early intervention and therapeutic support to improve learning, engagement and everyday wellbeing. You will be part of the school's established student support team, working collaboratively with educators and other professionals to strengthen the support for each child and young person.
We welcome provisional and early‐career psychologists and students completing their studies. Supervision is provided to support the internship and clinical registrar programs. This is a school‐based position and travel may be a required element of the role.

Responsibilities Include
* Undertake individual and group counselling and therapeutic interventions with students, parents and families.
* Provide advice on diagnoses from external professionals and monitor students' progress.
* Administer specialised psycho‐educational assessments of students with learning and/or adjustment difficulties, including cognitive, academic, behavioural, emotional, social and adaptive functioning.
