We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Android to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to drive mobile development and build modern, secure, and scalable applications that deliver better outcomes and product solutions to our customers.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience developing robust, secure, and accessible native Android applications with Kotlin. They will also be proficient in Jetpack Compose and have a solid understanding of Material Design and Modularisation. Additionally, they should have strong knowledge of MVVM, Gradle, Coroutines, and Git/Gitflow.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be consulted on product and feature designs, critical to their quality implementation and delivery. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of our mobile services and business strategy. You'll also be invited to attend regular engineering guilds to broaden your expertise and participate in agile ceremonies.
This role will see you become part of our Mobile Foundations Technology Chapter, focusing on building and delivering cutting-edge mobile experiences for our customers.
The successful candidate will be driven by a passion for developing robust mobile applications in Android, with an open mindset and deep interest in exploring, researching, and building Proof of Concept in new technology. They will also possess compelling presentation and communication abilities, written and verbal, and be able to influence stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
