Job Overview

The role of Grounds and Maintenance Attendant is a key position within our team, responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our park.

As part of this role, you will be performing daily tasks to maintain the appearance of the park, including grounds upkeep, facility maintenance, and equipment management.

* Maintain the condition and cleanliness of park facilities, including amenities, camp kitchen, and play areas.
* Perform general grounds upkeep, including landscaping, mowing, and litter removal.
* Carry out repairs and routine maintenance tasks on park accommodation and facilities.

This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to delivering excellent results.


Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure the park remains clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times.
2. Maintain the condition and cleanliness of park facilities, including amenities, camp kitchen, and play areas.
3. Perform general grounds upkeep, including landscaping, mowing, and litter removal.
4. Carry out repairs and routine maintenance tasks on park accommodation and facilities.
5. Manage and maintain park equipment and tools.
6. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
7. Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.


Requirements and Qualifications

* Previous experience in grounds keeping is desirable but not essential.
* Skilled in building and grounds maintenance tasks, with ability to safely operate equipment and power tools.
* Excellent time management skills and flexibility to work over a 7-day roster.
* Trade qualified is desirable, but not essential.
* Pool maintenance experience would be advantageous.
* A current valid driver's licence is essential.

Working Conditions

This role may involve extensive manual handling tasks, including lifting up to 20kg, kneeling, and squatting. The successful candidate must also be able to handle chemicals and utilise machinery.
