Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Export Document Coordinator to support commodity export sales by preparing, negotiating, and managing Letters of Credit (LC) and shipping processes.
This role will ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely information flow between buyers, banks, and internal departments.
Main Responsibilities:
* Document Preparation:
o Create LC drafts in line with contractual terms and incoterms
o Negotiate and manage LC drafts with applicants
o Compile and present full sets of export documents
* Documentation Management:
o Presentation of documentation to LC negotiation banks
o Maintenance of daily job registers and tracking of receivables
o Management of payment schedules
* Customer Liaison:
o Communication with buyers on LC, documentation, sales operations, and cargo discharge matters
o Update and report sales and shipment data
* Reporting:
o Preparation of monthly cash flow and sales reports for management
