Your opportunity:
* To provide expert clinical and patient-centred care within the Specialist Palliative Care in Aged Care Services (SPACE) program within Palliative Care Services. Support the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice. Responsible for advance care planning, with a focus on clinical leadership, management, education and/or research within the SPACE program, Palliative Care Services. The Clinical Nurse practices autonomously, applies critical thinking and provides leadership in clinical decision making to give and/or coordinate care to the SPACE program, Palliative Care Service clients.
* SPACE is a state-wide program. Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service's (WBHHS) model is a partnership between GP's and RACF's and community service providers to improve quality of life and ensure the right care is delivered at the right place at the right time to residents who are palliative or at the end of life.
Permanent Part Time (38 hours p.f.) and Temporary Part Time (hours negotiable) from February 2026 for up to 6 months with the possibility of extension
