Established in 1992, Maroochy Surf Club has become an iconic destination for local supporters and visitors to the Sunshine Coast. As one of Australia's most respected clubs, Maroochy Surf Club is home to a Surf Bar, Beach Break Café, Flags Bistro, Gaming Room, and top floor Function Room. For the year Maroochy Surf Club registered a total of 17,025 Social Members. Approximately 19,000 visitors are recorded visiting the venue on a monthly basis, that's 220,000 visitors a year from the greater Sunshine Coast region, from across Australia and around the World. Every year our free courtesy bus drives 55,000km and transports over 15,600 patrons traveling to and from the venue in the Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, North/East Buderim, Mt Creek, Alexandra Headland, and Kuluin areas.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef de Partie at Maroochy Surf Club located in Sunshine Coast, QLD. The Chef de Partie will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen operations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or relevant role
* Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment
* Strong understanding of food safety practices
* Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
* Good communication and leadership skills
* Certificate in Culinary Arts or related field is a plus
* Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
