Overview This individual is responsible for supporting the Waters Machine Shop within the Milford plant, specifically the nonconforming component process. Responsibilities include leading investigations into component non-conformances, developing and reporting quality system metrics, supporting the inspection process, and driving improvement activities and projects related to product and process quality.This is an onsite position in Milford, MA. Responsibilities Significant contributor to the non-conforming product system within the Waters Milford manufacturing facility.Work with Research and Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Machine Shop, and Supplier Quality to disposition nonconforming product.Perform weekly metrics reports to determine the current health of the nonconforming process, as needed.Support day-to-day operations to drive Key Process Indicator (KPI) improvements and business objectives.Analyze and report data to identify defect trends within product criteria (e.g., MRB data, Nonconformance Report, customer complaints, etc.).Perform investigations including measuring and testing parts. Qualifications Qualified individual should have a bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.), Business, Mathematics, Science, or a technical field with an emphasis on statistical skills. Advanced degree preferred.Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or a related field.Working knowledge of ISO quality management systems 9001, 13485, and 21 CFR Part 820.Working knowledge of mechanical drawings (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing - GD&T), along with electrical and fluidic schematics.Excellent project management skills, exceptional organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to client satisfaction are essential.Experience with machining processes and equipment is a plus.Programming experience with CMM and Vision systems is a plus.
