QRM Claims Management is a leading independent provider of insurance and motor vehicle assessment services. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Motor Vehicle Assessor – Victoria Region.
This is a remote work from home position that offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with motor assessing experience or those with a background in sedan and light commercial vehicle panel beating looking to transition into this role. QRM is also proud subsidiary of the AUB Group, an ASX-listed 200 company.
Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
* Conduct thorough assessments of sedans and light commercial vehicles to determine the extent of damage, repair requirements and fair and reasonable costs of repair.
* Prepare detailed assessment reports, including photographs and written descriptions of the damage, repair recommendations, and estimated costs.
* Maintain professional and effective communication with clients, policyholders, and repair shops to provide assessment results and answer any questions or concerns.
* Work independently from a remote location, utilising digital tools and software to facilitate assessments and communication.
* Follow industry standards, company guidelines, and best practices when conducting assessments to ensure accuracy and consistency.
* Assess a variety of vehicle classes, including sedans, light commercial and prestige vehicles
* Ensure the quality and accuracy of assessment reports and make any necessary revisions or corrections.
* Stay updated on industry trends, repair techniques, and vehicle technology advancements to enhance assessment skills.
About you:
* Previous motor assessing experience is advantageous, but not mandatory. Individuals with sedan and light commercial vehicle panel beating experience looking to transition into this role will be considered.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately assess vehicle damage.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently while meeting deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in digital tools and software for remote work.
* Knowledge of different vehicle classes, including sedans, light commercial and prestige vehicles is advantageous.
