In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in the delivery of the assigned project by supervising and coordinating the onsite activities during the construction program.Major ObjectivesManage the operational components of the Project Management Plan including, but not limited to:Deliver the project on or better than the contract program.Deliver the project within the budget or better.Your key responsibilities will include:Manage the activities of all site staff, sub-contractors, and trades suppliersPositively influence site safety culture and enforce compliance with Corplex OHSEQ procedures and all relevant Legislation and Codes. Promote total job safety and environmental awareness by employees, subcontractors and all persons in the job vicinity and ensure that safe and environmentally acceptable working methods and practices are implementedPrepare the site logistic plan including site amenities, housing, entry/exit traffic management, cranage, hoisting, security, waste managementEnsure that subcontractors complete their work in accordance with the scope of work and programme provided by the Project Manager.Perform random inspections on subcontractor’s work ensuring the work conforms to the relevant codes, specification and drawings and sign off check sheets where applicable.Together with Project Coordinator ensure that a continuous inspecting and testing programme is implemented and monitored during the full course of the project.Assist in the overall project management by constant review of construction methods and site performance and coordination of trade contractors against planned activities and programmes.Maintain records for any causes for extra works, daily events and progress works, subcontractor request for information | clarifications.Identify, and assist Project Manager in resolving any design, constructibility or documentation issues.Maintenance or records, drawings, programmes and site manager’s diary are kept in accordance with Company procedure.Develop accurate and detailed fortnightly site production schedulesCoordinate trades and sequencing of works to maximise productionCollaborate closely with Project Management on all mattersReview drawings, identify design issues and promptly raise with the Project ManagerProactively and routinely seek out cost saving opportunities for the projectFacilitate positive consultations with all project stakeholdersRequirementsMinimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role with a proven track record of successfully delivering medium to large scale projects from start to finishAgile and adaptable as a leader with an ability to ‘find a way’ to deliver projectsStrong organisational and time management skillsAbility to identify project cost and time savings across all stages of the buildHigh level of attention to detail in within scopes, specifications, and technical drawingsHas the energy and enthusiasm to be a driver of site safety not just a passengerStrong and flexible leader who can maintain positive and productive relationships on site, with the Project Team, with clients, and all other stakeholdersAn opportunity to work with an enthusiastic team of construction professionalsAn inclusive leadership team who will support your progression within the businessRemuneration will be consistent with the candidate’s qualifications and experienceIf you possess the skills, drive and experience required for this opportunity, please click apply and upload your CV or for a confidential discussion please email (emailprotected)How do your skills match this job?How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.To help fast track investigation, please include here any other relevant details that prompted you to report this job ad as fraudulent / misleading / discriminatory.
