At SleepMaker, part of The Comfort Group, we're proud to be one of Australasia's leading bedding manufacturers. Our products are found in homes, hotels, and retailers across the region—and it's our people who make it happen. We're currently looking for production workers to join our growing team.
About the Role
We're on the lookout for reliable, hard-working production workers to join our manufacturing team. If you like staying active, working with your hands, and being part of a team, this could be a great fit. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role within our manufacturing facility. You'll be involved in producing high-quality bedding products, working across several areas and learning multiple processes. Full training is provided, and you'll be supported to become multi-skilled across the factory.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be part of the team that builds high-quality mattresses and bedding products. Tasks include:
* Assembling mattresses and components
* Glueing, stapling, and fabric handling
* Operate machinery, hand tools, and production equipment
* Pack and prepare finished products for dispatch
* Moving materials and stock within the factory
* Inspecting products to ensure quality standards are met
* Rotate between tasks as required
* Keep your work area clean and safe
* Report faults, hazards, or safety concerns
What We're Looking For
We're seeking motivated, reliable team players who enjoy hands-on work, are safety-focused, and eager to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment. As well as:
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
* Able to follow instructions and work in a team environment
* Physically capable of manual handling tasks
* Strong attention to detail
* Willingness to learn and be trained across multiple processes
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills
* Forklift Licence (LF) – nice to have (but not essential)
