About the Role
We are seeking full time Gardener/Maintenance Assistants to join the Amaroo Gardening Team in maintaining the beautiful grounds and gardens of Amaroo Village. Your responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining gardens for the facilities and village residents.
* Repairing and maintaining the reticulation system (training will be provided).
* General ground works and building maintenance as required.
* Collaborating with the maintenance team to address requests from staff and residents.
* Kind and caring interactions with residents.
* Adhering to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures.
What We're Looking For
* Experience or qualifications in gardening, mowing, weeding, maintenance, reticulation experience an advantage or willingness to learn.
* Knowledge of WHS principles and safe work procedures.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Customer-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Availability for "on-call" rotation.
* Valid WA Driver's License.
* Must have Current National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old).
