What we are looking for:
We're looking for an IT Infrastructure Officer to join our high performing IT team. You'll play a critical role in maintaining the availability and maintenance of our IT environment.
What your day will look like:
* Maintaining availability of IT infrastructure, security, performance and functionality of servers, network systems, operating systems and cloud infrastructure
* Administering the life cycle of council's servers
* Maintaining council's corporate applications infrastructure and databases
* Developing business cases, project briefs and project implementation plans
* Liaising with vendors on any operation incidents, service issues and procurement

What you'll need for success:
You'll have substantial experience in a similar position and will be confident and capable in the administration and support of a Windows IT environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across the organisation will set you up for success.
You'll have:

* Well developed analytical and research skills
* A commitment to staying up to date with current and emerging industry trends
