Job Description:
The Department of Justice and Community Safety seeks a highly skilled State Training Coordinator to lead the state training portfolio, ensuring compliance with Corrections Victoria mandatory training requirements and associated policies.
This critical role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to oversee and coordinate state training and assessment activities, utilizing expertise in training and assessment to design and deliver courses to Correctional Services personnel and relevant private organizations.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain accurate training records, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of training programs.
* Lead the state training portfolio, driving continuous improvement of statewide training through collaborative efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to oversee and coordinate state training and assessment activities, leveraging expertise in training and assessment to inform course development.
About the Business Unit: The Security and Emergency Services Group provides security services and incident response to the correctional system. This role reports to the Manager, Workforce Services and is part of the day-to-day management of Statewide Training and the Training Instructor team.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (Education, Training and Assessment, etc.).
* Cert IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent is desirable.
* Possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
