Our client, a growing national manufacturing and distribution organisation, is seeking a standalone HR Generalist to join their team. This is a pivotal role partnering closely with leadership to support continued growth, uplift capability, and strengthen people processes across the business. The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will operate as a business partner across operations, providing both operational and advisory support. With a strong presence on the ground, you will work closely with leaders, ensuring best-practice HR support aligned to business objectives. You will play a key role in evolving the HR function, driving initiatives across engagement, performance, compliance, and workforce planning. Key Responsibilities Partner with leaders to provide strategic and operational HR guidance Lead end-to-end recruitment across operational and corporate roles Drive performance management and employee development initiatives Provide expert advice on ER/IR matters, awards, and compliance Support organisational design and workforce planning as the business grows Manage the payroll process and related systems Champion culture, engagement, and leadership capability Review and enhance HR policies, systems, and processes About You Proven experience in a HR Generalist capacity Background in manufacturing, FMCG, construction, or blue-collar environments preferred Strong working knowledge of Fair Work legislation and Australian employment law Confident operating in a standalone capacity with direct access to senior leadership Commercially astute, pragmatic, and solutions-focused Comfortable being both strategic and hands-on Why This Role?
