Stock Control Manager
We are seeking a skilled Stock Control Manager to oversee stock control within our organization.
* Supervise daily store operations including receiving, storage, stock control, and distribution of materials.
* Assist with major shutdowns when required.
* Conduct regular stocktakes.
* Identify and report any stock discrepancies, damages, or inventory issues.
* Accurately label, store, and organize stock in designated areas.
* Manage repairable and rotatable stock items including obtaining quotations and tracking repairs and delivery.
* Maintain accurate inventory records within our system.
* Ensure correct operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
* Chain of responsibility regarding deliveries.
* Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and supplier issues.
* Establish and monitor workforce planning key performance indicators that contribute to operational performance.
Requirements:
* A bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is often preferred.
* 5+ years in a stock supervision role within a heavy industrial environment.
* Procurement background experience in industrial settings is highly advantageous.
* Proficiency in inventory management software, particularly SAP, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
* Forklift license required.
