We are seeking an experienced SENIOR QUALITY ADVISOR to join our Darwin-based team supporting major Oil & Gas projects. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving quality assurance and quality control processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System
* Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and client-specific requirements
* Review and approve ITPs, MDRs, and quality documentation
* Conduct internal audits and support external/client audits
* Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions
* Provide quality guidance to SMP and construction team
* Monitor welding, NDT, coating and mechanical completion activities
* Ensure traceability of materials and certification records
* Mentor and support junior quality personnel
ABOUT YOU
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Quality Management or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
* Extensive experience in a Quality role within the Oil & Gas sector
* Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and project QA/QC system
* Demonstrated experience with SMP scopes (Structural, Mechanical & Piping)
* Sound understanding of Australian Standards and client specification
* Strong auditing, reporting and documentation skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capability
* High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skill
