Maternity Leave Payroll Specialist Opportunity
This role is a maternity leave cover in a leading organisation dedicated to supporting Aboriginal children, families, and communities across Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prioritise payroll processing of large payrolls with accuracy.
* Perform monthly reconciliations of payroll tax, work cover, and superannuation balance sheet records and annual reconciliation.
* Conduct administrative duties: file maintenance, set up new employee folders, distribute starter packs, collect police checks, and reimburse related expenses.
Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience using Chris21 or iChris is essential.
* A background in payroll within the Community services or Not-for-Profit sector would be advantageous.
* Effective time management, organisational skills, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities are required.
* Candidates must be able to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment.
* A current Working with Children Check and National Police Check are mandatory.
