We're partnering with a large, WA-based resources organisation that is expanding its team and seeking a senior Enterprise Infrastructure Architect to shape the future of its corporate technology landscape.
About the Role
This is a strategy-first, forward-looking role sitting within the "Plan" function focused on what great infrastructure looks like 2+ years ahead, not day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
* Develop multi-year infrastructure roadmaps aligned to business strategy
* Forecast future upgrades, risks and opportunities
* Assess emerging technologies and run feasibility studies
* Build business cases for major infrastructure investments
* Influence senior leaders and collaborate closely with architects, delivery teams and stakeholders
* Represent Infrastructure in architecture governance forums
The role is primarily focused on corporate IT infrastructure (Perth head office), with a separate team covering mine sites and OT environments.
Required Skills
* 8–12+ years' experience in enterprise infrastructure or architecture
* Strong breadth across networking, cloud, data centres and security
* Experience in large, complex environments
* A strategic mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills
* The ability to translate business needs into technical direction
Preferred Skills
Experience in mining, resources or industrial environments is highly regarded but not essential.
