* Base salary $77k - $94k + 15.4% ABC Nominated Super
* Contract for approximately 12 months
* Working in isolated locations attracts allowances above the base salary rate
The Role
As a member of our local ABC Radio Darwin team, you'll play a key role in creating distinctive, engaging content that serves audiences across radio, digital, social media and mobile platforms. Working under the direction of the Content Director and alongside a passionate group of storytellers, you'll help shape content that reflects local voices while contributing to ABC's broader national conversation.
You'll develop original, compelling stories and broadcast content that resonates with local audiences and can be shared across ABC teams nationally. From supporting live studio broadcasts and managing talkback callers, to collaborating on emergency coverage and cross‐promoting ABC content, this role offers variety, responsibility and meaningful impact.
Throughout everything you do, you'll champion ABC values, work safely, and uphold the highest editorial and ethical standards.

You're a creative and capable content maker with a passion for telling authentic stories that reflect the diversity of Australian life.
