Information Management and Administration Officer
As the Information Management and Administration Officer, you will provide administrative support to the Information Services business unit through the daily operations of Council's Information Management, Business Systems, and ICT Operations teams. In this role you will work within the collaborative arrangements between East Gippsland Shire Council and Wellington Shire Council.
This is a full-time, limited tenure position resulting from an internal secondment. The role is based in Bairnsdale, commencing as soon as possible and continuing until September 2027.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide efficient and effective customer service to all staff in the administration of the Council's records, business systems, and service desk.
* Assist in training staff in the use of the Council's records management system.
* Ensure staff understanding and compliance with records management requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience providing administrative support in a busy environment.
* Strong computer, recordkeeping, and data management skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
* Effective time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
* Must undertake a police check.
* Legally entitled to work in Australia.
