Job Description:
As a Home Support Associate, you will provide personalized care and support to individuals in their own homes, enhancing their independence and quality of life.
This role requires strong verbal communication skills, a warm and empathetic nature, and genuine respect for cultural diversity.
You will also have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including those from Russian, Polish, Hebrew or Yiddish speaking backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one support to clients, promoting their physical and emotional well-being
* Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
* Monitor client wellbeing and act quickly in emergencies, prioritizing their safety and health
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing/Aged Care) or equivalent qualification
* Current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
* Ability to work at least 2-3 days per week, Monday-Sunday
* Strong verbal communication skills and empathy
